It's a learning experience :) Thank you for the input. The choppyness was due to the server maxing out on bandwidth and was fixed by going to a lower bandwidth codec (it was on maximum quality earlier).

TS3 was choppy last night. It
TS3 was choppy last night. It certainly wasn't acceptable when 2 or more tried to speak. Choppy as all hell to the point where commands were completely unintelligible.
Even after the codec was fiddled, some directional commands were lost and I resorted to simply following the blob.
So on first day... eh! The ui is a bit easier than vent but lacks some of the custumization, such as the equalizer to reduce "hollow" backgrounds or the reverb to bring a voice forward. I liked that I only had to fiddle with one volume setting for one talker last night. With vent I have to adjust every single talker.
At this point, I prefer vent, but maybe TS can be tweaked enough to make it preferred.

Saturday TS usage was very good.
Sunday sucked gnarly hiary nads. Lotta breakup, distortion and "poor reception." I imagine that sunday was due to the number of people logged into TS. Lately, commands are lost in garbled breakup and I just tend to follow the blobs. Sort of what I do anyway when i don't join the raids.
