Hi baos members/admins,

As you are probably aware, around 3-4 months ago I committed a few infringements within a short time period. Whilist these were not intended, or meant in any way, the rules and boundaries, thankfully, are there to restrict and uphold the consequences of my actions. I would like to, however appeal to my current ban to vent/Ts3. Three months of complete silence without any communication or contact has greatly impacted me, and I hope my actions and current behaviour represent that. To the creep community as a whole, I am sorry for anything that occured during that period, (particulary sorry to anyone I might have hurt), and acknowledge any rumours/beliefs that occured. I would ask for your consideration to remove my ban, and keep this issue within your thoughts. If this can be resolved, and even terms established, I would be greatly thankful.

Yours,

Brut

I'd have figured the term was obvious, but I guess not, perma ban means permanant ban, forever. You can keep appealing all you want but you are likely to get the same result as now, especially if you keep bugging our admins in game and via mail on these forums.

per·ma·nent

[pur-muh-nuhnt]

–adjective

1.
existing perpetually; everlasting, esp. without significant change.
2.
intended to exist or function for a long, indefinite period without regard to unforeseeable conditions: a permanent employee; the permanent headquarters of the United Nations.

------------------------

The term "settled" in the PM meant that the TS admins went over the appeal and there was no support to repealing the ban.  Hence the permanent ban is maintained.

I'll wrap this up Semi, (so to speak), hehe, below is a comment made by Vyxe.

Mmm hmm... which is why the appeal was denied.  Although we did forget to write it up here when we settled it a couple days ago.

You can interpret 'settled' in more ways than one, but the issue was 'settled,' meaning done and dusted.

Settled can either mean, Ts3 ban permanent ban continued, or finished, but at least both parties get an even basis.

How is my case any different?

How long does a perma ban last for Semi?

It's a serious question. Yes, 'permanent,' but honestly, do the players who get it stay out of Ts3 for the rest of the game?

I do admit this is losing some of it's purpose. I simply asked for when I may appeal again, with some details to this issue. As I know nothing of what is going on here.

I accepted the decision. It's prats like Bog who come in and make this a whole lot more complicated.

This discussion thread is ridiculous. You agreed to the terms of use and you violated it not ONCE, but TWICE - you're permabanned - end of discussion....

You're pathetic.

Grumbled? Do you think I'm just going to let my case slip? If you come out with no information and enter a discussion with only biased opinions, (which anyone can have), and make a stupid comment like so, what do you think I'm going to do?

Just say nothing?

Making you look a victim is incredibly funny to watch. Keep posting back please. words^^

Nice to know you akin a vent ban to being in jail for murder

Come again?

I followed that statement so many times now, I just won't bother.

Let me spell it out for you, just in case.

I used that statement to illustrate I can't make the same offence.

So there's no reason for my ban to upheld.

My attitude remains the same of, wanting to move on, asking for yes, a third chance - from something that is a petty issue.

My actions, and free - to - open speak should make that clear.

The posts you're making are making you look incredibly childish. Oh, and yeah - if you attack me, I'm going to attack you back.

If you have nothing to do with admin, then stay out of it if you have useless, pointless comments like so.

oh - and do people stay in jail, forever? Some of them do, yep. But for what? Murdering? Stealing? Terrorist attacks? Smuggling drugs?

Once again, have a think.

Then reply.

oh, and - I've never felt so disgusted when I have put a hell of an effort to talk on even terms, be polite, and attempt to rationalise when you come out with something like that. I would've thought you were better.

Isn't it obvious I'm trying to appeal to get over this? Isn't it obvious I've accepted my wrong, and ready to move on? A crummy little crime of flipping vents twice, preventing me from having any access to the E world.

You tell me.

But I said in my original post, 'ok' as in - I accept the decesion.... all I asked for were some details for why this decesion has been made.

I would still like at least some information please.

I just want to point this out to you and let you ponder what it means.

The sentence I used was to illustrate the fact I CAN'T make the same error as before, only if I am unbanned can I do that.

The point you're missing here is, I wouldn't do it, I've learnt my lesson, and it's definitly time for you to move on. This is to highlight where the missing pieces of the jigsaw puzzle are. My ban is still upheld. Yet I cannot have done anything to keep the ban in place.

Think about it.

There's a little thing called forgiveness. And, also - the attitude we're all able to use and Move on.

That really does tend to aggrivate someone Bog. I feel like your a biased newsreporter cutting out the bits and pieces to make a one sided story.

Seriously?

ok, when may I appeal next then, and may I have some explanation as to why? Would like to know after 5months of patiently waiting with no result :)

At least now I'm not waiting for some kind of communication, a scrap of information, but with this result some details would be great.

If the ban is for life, which would seem incredulous, then any kind of contribution I would have been able to make to creepside won't happen :) I'm sorry and incredibly disappointed,  particularily in you Vyxe, as to how this has panned out, (for the moment one would hope) but I refuse to play creepside without Ts3 due to the huge importance it stands for.

How ironic I was told by an old admin, (not sure he still one atm), that I could appeal a month later on the boas forums to it's vent admins, and it'd be fixed, no problems.

Who knows? Someone might hear my voice in a year.

l.o.l.

Well obviously, 'please get back to me' didn't do anything, so I'm going to post again.

This issue is either confused or distorted, or it's neither. But if it's neither, then why is this so drawn out? If there are confused arguments about this, then please talk to me. I would be happy to discuss anything. I am desperate to resolve this, whether it means I will never be able to join Ts3 again or not. But just waiting without any answers or any contact is simply unfair.

If the ban is upheld, then please give me some reason as to why. I havent been able to contribute anything to creepside, but I have done my best to do so to freepside. Yes, I admit I was wrong to cross vents originally, but I've learned from this mistake, and even if for some mad reason I wanted to cross vents again, I couldn't - because I've been banned from one vent, unable to cross anyway. So I havent made any offence.

It's been around 5months now since I was permantly banned for crossing vents twice. Please, make a decision.

So even after 3 or so months of not been able to join vent, where I cannot possibly make the same mistake again - (flipping vents) nothing has changed? This is slightly amusing to me - because I cannot make the same infringement as before. However, if this one issue has split and some vent admins have made an opinion on me based on a different situation - such as grouping with Vapor/Immo, then this isn't a fair resoloution. If this is the case, I am free for discussion to any questions/queries you have.

Grouping with such a large stigma probably wasn't the best of ideas, but tieing someone to someone else's mistakes is simply not right.

Please get back to me.

Having reviewed the admin thread discussing your ban... 26 posts long... the last result was a perma-ban.  Which is upheld.
