Cheekymunkey

A) Character Name and Class: Cheekymunkey, MINI

B) Any other character names/classes on Imladris: 6 alts (2 are only banks) Cheekey {Champ, Master Supreme Scholar} and a RK/Cappy low level - All variations in name of my game tag

C) Age:o.O old enough that I dont tell I will admit to 30+

D) What Time zone are you in? (CST, EST, Aussie, etc):EST

E) How long have you played any MMO?: 8-9 years maybe? WoW being my best run so far, oh for the days that it wasn't a faceroll game.

F) How long have you played LOTRO?:started about 2-3 weeks after Imadris opened, my kids got me into it (and I got hooked) ; I tend to be a wee bit obsessive on my Main and my biggest frustration is lack of concrete info available for lotro - where is LOTRO's "Elitist Jerks" and the overly casual nature of Imladris. Laid back is one thing but dont ppl get bored of doing the same old stuff? I am not looking hard core but how about a little ambition?!?!?!

H) What is important to you in a Kinship:
1. Group like-minded, similar goals or goals that everyone can live with and actually participate in attaining.
2. Troll free - ok there is a wee troll somewhere (there is in every group), I just ask that they be securely locked away
3. MMORPG's are social by nature so a group that can find me half-way "likeable" and the same in return.
4. Group w/ some level of game knowledge and competence that is taught if not known then expected ("Yea we wiped, you pulled again, for the 10,0001 time please dont run in front of the tank").
5. Some ambition and goals and more than 2-3 people willing to work towards them, Rosters and "hidden" talent dont count, what Happens counts, leadership can only set goals it takes a collective to make them happen.
6. Actual need for the class I play which is a healing mini, ya know if you have 10 and need 2, no need for me to park with you.
7. Mature...if your mom is going to call you away from the keyboard before a boss and you afk log I'm not gonna be really thrilled. (Guess the same can be said for "wife aggro" I mean really if you have something scheduled if you MUST ask her permission - it can happen to anyone but if you cant get through an instance w/o having to afk 3-4 times to appease someone, let the group know ahead of time).

I) What do you bring to the kinship:
1. once I "attach" to a group I tend to be fiercely loyal, in all my years in WoW I was only in 3 kins (first I got out of quickly, then the one I started and grew to 480 great folks then the offshoot of it that was the progression/raiding arm)
2. I am helpful to the point of being a "doormat" at times, I have driven myself about broke making sure everyone had food/tokens/symbols/frags as they needed - this is an area I am going to work on balancing "helpful" but not going full blown "doormat".
3. I am told I'm a good healer, I am still relatively new to this game so I dont feel the confidence in the Mini that I felt in that "Supreme Goddess of healing Shaman" in WoW but she is getting there.
4. I am the type that needs to learn a game...I need to know my class and the classes I'm running with, I am always reading (see frustration above - lack of good info out there on the game)
5. Goal oriented team player

J) Would you be interested in playing as a Monster on Elendilmir? (PvP): No Idea - would not be opposed to it, monster play is not something I really am knowledgable about - always up for learning things :D

K) Would you be interested in PvP as a freep on this server?: yes (but with a degree of agnst in that yes) - I have been out a couple of times (2-3) in total and the Trolls were over-populated, there needs to definately be instituted a troll birth control program on Imladris before you see more Freeps interested. I have had numerous conversations with really good players who generally say "I wont pvp because I wont tolerate being around someone who acts like "Player X" (Fill in the blank with a few we all have our favorite trolls). I would like to... I really enjoyed it on WoW to fill the time between raid lockouts.

L) We also have a 30 day inactivity rule. If for any reason that you would not be able to log onto game for 30+ days, would you be able to let us know in advance? Of Course, not to do so is just plain rude - once you join a group you do owe them common sense manners - annonimity of a MMORPG does not excuse one from practicing decent manners in dealing with people
I was specifically a little "wordy" to give you more of an idea about me...as said before I dont like Kin hopping, I "kinda" know a few of your guys on Imladris and they seem like decent nice folks. Sadly there are a ton of kins on Imladris not many I would be interested in. If what I am looking does not appear to be a good fit for your group - by all means just say so.

Hey Cheeky! Thanks for applying! You seem like you would fit in well with us! At the current moment, we do not have lots of people who are active but you do know the ones who are! You are more than welcome to come and join our kinship! Look for an officer in game or have one of the Wildmen find one hehe.
