Everyone's being very quiet about their star wars experiences ths weekend. Would love to hear some reviews from Live play!
Der TOR
They have lock boxes but you dont need to buy a key and there are no seeds in them I'm afraid, just gear.
But do they have any lock boxes, and keys!!!!
Rax ans I are on The Harbinger (not sure if he's started playing yet, but he's reserved the name). Other than that, idk.
have folks joined up on any one server?
I am enjoying it very much. Even for my 3rd playthrough of a planet, I'm having tons of fun. The fact that each class has slightly different conversation options makes it almost like a new experience which LOTRO never did.
If it wasnt for their issue with the Security question BS I would be loving it even more. but i'm LIKING it. unfortunately I was grouped all last night so I missed Morsel's call out for creeps. Bay me. but its got some great features to it. needs some work as any MMO does, but overall I am satisfied
I'm taking the solo approach to the game and have really enjoyed the beta and early launch.
SWTOR reminds me of the 2007-era LotRO because most of the game right now is less about being a WoW-clone and more about appealing to the diehard Star Wars fans. Like most WoW-style games there's not much skill involved in playing but I'm guessing most of us have come to expect that by now. It's still a very involving and well crafted game for the reasons that Cortes previously mentioned.
KOTOR 3 (or , 4, 5, and 6) this is not, but for the story-seeking solo'er this is probably the best mainstream MMO option aside from LotRO. My hope is that Bioware will stick to appealing to the diehard fans and not sellout to the WoW-babies (*cough* TURBINE *cough*).
Same comment as Cortes - LOVING IT!!!
Story lines are great.
One feature I appreciate is in the Map page, if you move your toon, the map remains but "thins" out allowing you to see your toon move but showing the map overlay with your cursor.
There's so much more, but have to go play....
Loving it, it's a lot of fun and has some great story lines and quests. Even little shire delivey quests that it has, have plot twists and numerous outcomes via chat options.

I am really enjoying the game, and the storylines. My only concern, and this may be just me, but I don't want to be on rails the whole time. Sometimes I just want to fish or wander/explore w/o this sense of go go go. Instead of the whole world being open, there are sections connected kind of like AOC or GW, but better done by far. Still, hope it doesn't kill the explorer/harvester in me over time.
That said, all other aspects are great. I am playing characters on both sides to get a feel of the different classes and their settings in the worlds. :)
