For every place i've lived I have to give contact information for a friend.
Friend by government's terms is someone I met with socially (in person and not just at work), 2-3 times a week.
Given that most/all of the people I know/knew were married, they'd much rather see their spouses/kids than me 2-3 times a week. And given the frequency of my moving (moved 4 times in the past 8 years), I quickly lose contact with people.

Late post but oh well.
State government specifically Law Enforcement is unbelievably worse. Unfortunately, I feel it should be equal or the other way around. My background check for the government was relaxed compared to how it was going to be for the California Highway Patrol if I would have passed the Farnsworth-15 color blindness test.
