Last year I toured the USA and saw 44 National Parks. I blogged about it here, with lots of photos: http://www.drivetopark.com
Yosemite is probably my favorite park!
Continue with those pics V.

Unfortunately all rainy so Mt Hood was one big cloud. Scenic and uneventful drive down to Crater Lake where I camped out for the sunset... alas, too many clouds which obscured the hints of a brilliant red sunset :( In Medford, OR now preparing for the long drive down towards Yosemite.

Man, always wanted to see Washington/B.C. area! Hope to see some pics! Stay safe!
"To the beeches of Neldoreth I came in the Autumn.
Ah! the gold and the red and the sighing of leaves in the Autumn in Taur-na-neldor!
It was more than my desire." - Fangorn.

Crap, that sucks. At least you're ok though, and the car is still drivable.
Olympic and Rainier are some of the prettiest NPs! If you're in the Seattle area over the weekend and want to hang out, let me know: kideternal@gmail.com
Ouch... well at least you weren't hurt and it sounds like the damage wasn't too bad...
Hope the rest of your trip goes well, Mt. Rainer is really beautiful. Actually just got back from there with my family :).

Cry... on my drive from Butte MT to Yakima WA my new Forester (less than 5k miles) got rearended at a stoplight... moron wasn't paying attention behind me.... scratches on bumper, pushed in about 3mm, and a dent/puncture (can't quite see it... I think it's a puncture caused by the indentation..)
*sigh* up to Mt Rainer and Olympus N.P tomorrow in a damaged vehicle....
ARRRRGH

Wow, Tuesday was a busy day!
If you're staying in Yellowstone longer, try to see Grand Geyser. It only erupts once every ~11 hours, but is so amazing it's a must-see. (Much better than Old Faithful, IMHO.)
I hope you're enjoying all of the photo ops!
Glad to hear you are having a good holiday V. Don't worry about rushing back, at the rate he's going Yicky will be making a new years resolution to finally hit rank 11.
I envy you! That is one awesome trip so far! Remember to get more bug spray and take more pics! We are wanting to see them!

Whew, my western trip is over! 10 days, 5200 miles, 750sh pictures, and one rear-ended 2011 Subaru Forester :( But check out my website for pictures! Remember to look at page 2 as the trip started Jul 10 with the Rocky Mountain National Park!

Trip started in Albuquerque, visited Katie then went to Rocky Mountain National Park, went north to Wyoming and took scenic Wyoming 130, then Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, went through Montana seeing a historic prison, followed the path of Lewis and Clark along Idaho 23, went to Mt Ranier, around Olympus National Park to the most NW corner of the continental US, back down by Mt Saint Helens and Mt Hood for Crater Lake, then continued south to Yellowstone and Death Valley then heading home!
I think my favorite picture all trip is the final picture at Cape Flattery, the blue twilight image of the rock and boat, attaching it below
Enjoy! I think i'm done shooting pictures for a good long time...
