I'd like to run through it again and finish off a number of quests. Anyone want to go? Yes.. i'll lead, and no, we're not likely whatsoever to kill Thorog (but we can try!).

So... information needed
1) What time would work best for you, please translate it to Pacific Standard Time, or at least enter your timezone so we can go figure out what time you are. A range of times would be best, my last run of it (admittedly I was learning it) took about 7 hours total to the last Thorog wipe, we can probably do it in 5, or simply finish it on Sunday at a convenient lock.

2) What class would you bring?
Specifics needed per class
Minstrel: Will you have hopeful heart slotted?
Burglers: Will you have enrage slotted? Can you be voice capable
Champions: Do you know where your aoe and clobber buttons are?
Guardians: What is your unbuffed morale (approximately)? Can you be voice capable
Hunters: Do you know where your remove poison button is?
Captains: Do you know where your remove fear button is?
Loremasters: Can you be voice capable?

3) Necessary Pre-Reqs
20 Fear pots
20 Poison pots
Fully repaired
Willing to die for the glory of.. well.. umm... let's just say willing to die
Ventrilo (will likely use Levex's because I don't think we can fill up 24 with just whoever trolls this board)
Ability to understand the command 'SINGLE TARGET DPS ONLY!'

4) Highly encouraged Pre-Reqs
+5 hope tokens

What I would like are
4 minstrels
2-4 guardians (love good tanks)
2-4 burglers
2-4 LM's
3-4 captains
4+ hunters
3+ champions

We'll see the interest level, if it exceeds 12 we'll fire this up at the best time compatible and fill in the rest with people's friends/kinmates/glff :) Do note... i've only run through the whole thing twice and have only lead once.. that said.... I have a good feel for the whole place now, but don't hesitate to remind me if i'm missing something (say.... putting loot on master when we hit a boss). No experiance necessary... in fact, the less experiance you have, the more fun this will probably be!!!!

I'm definitely interested in running Helegrod again. I had a ton of fun. I still have a few open quests I want to finish up and one of these days I want to down Thorog.

Highlights of the night

1) Erethrin (LM) is told to mez pull... which generally means mez.. then run away to drag aggro through the raid so we can pick it up. He runs in.. mezzes.. then sorta stands there like a chicken with his head cut off till he dies. Much laughter commences

2) Two sides of the room, each with 6 NPCs, we clear left side with one remaining mezzed.. I send Bogutyr in to 'pull the rest'.... I thought it would be clear that it would be finishing the left. Nope, he pulls the right side and much chaos ensues. Btw.. the left mezzed guy was still there when the dust settled. :)

Good laughs, I had fun till Thorog

Maybe next Hele run, I'll make it?! Who knows! Just say when the next one is... hope I can, Vyxe does a great job in pvmp raids I'm sure he'd lead a great hele raid. *thumbs up*

Well that was quite fun for me. I didn't lose anyone in my group until the last fight! I'm ready for more now. I just stayed with healing and buffing. Didn't attack anything. Such a difference from my spider.

We generally only run with two minstrels, and it's difficult to cover all the area of that fight (especially the LMs standing right outside the tents) with just two HH. Better to use the tokens and be safe for that one. :P

Aye, I tend to agree with Chenobyl; tokens are safer. Hopeful Heart is great for boss fights where hope wipe occurs (Thorog's the only one in Helegrod that does it, I believe). But otherwise, HH is only +4 hope, which is worse than +5 tokens. It's actually even worse than +4 tokens due to its proximity restrictions. I see folks step out of the HH area ALL the time (sometimes involuntary...i.e, knock backs), and even if they immediately step back in, minstrels still have to scramble to heal the 20%+ of their morale that they lost instantly. +4 tokens are dirt cheap, there's no reason not to use them instead of HH. +5 tokens are a bit more but cheaper than repair costs from wipes. Above all else, not traiting HH frees up a trait slot for fellowship's heart, which removes all fear effects, casts fear immunity on everyone, and heals 464 initially and 464 every 3 seconds for 30 seconds, for a total of more than 5000 morale points. Great for those "oh crap" situations during hard boss fights. Not that we're going to have those situations, right? :)

There's a number of opportunities for hopeful heart to save us all hope tokens.

The giant needs a hopeful heart for the melee and the tank, the ranged on that fight need one also to stand on

The spider queen also dumps a bunch of dread too, so it's nice to be able to stand on a hopeful heart

I'd like to bring my guard Druni along if it's not going to run past midnightish EST (so 9:00 PST) - have had those quests taking up space forever.

Level 50, have vent, unbuffed morale something like 3500 (I sacrificed a little vitality for better parry/mitigation, etc, and don't have a full rift set yet). Can use vent.

1) Best time: Start time around 1pm PST would be nice if its going to take ~5 hrs. I wanted to try and make the mins/burg moors raid at 6pm PST. But I'm still willing to start at whatever is the most convient time of the majority. I want to finish up some quests in Hele too :)

2) What class would you bring? I can bring either my mins or guardian. I'd prefer my guardian
Minstrel (Geekalin): HH slotted
Guardian (Geekwen): ~4000 morale. voice capable

He's likely moving his as Talya's burg/minstrel thing is the same time.

Additionally I think we can split this into two segments... it doesn't reset till Monday so we can burn what we can Saturday and finish it Sunday as necessary. I'd like to get at least 3/4 of the way through though.

4 hours for a Helegrod raid may be enough time though, so it may

Well if this doesn't interfere with the minstrel/burg raid on saturday @ 9:00 est I might be willing to go. It will be my first time in the helegrod. I can only bring my minstrel and I do have Hopeful Heart and rally slotted always like a good minstrel. So sometime early afternoon would work for me.

hmm been a long time since i played them, but i have a 50 champ (3480 morale) and a 50 loremaster (GM scholar).
cant recall what state they are in, dont think they have any fear pots on them (are those vendor items?).
not sure if i have the ingreds to make a ton of morale pots either.
I never had a decent kin so havent done much raiding, just got the rift boots for the champ.
