So.. I buy a refurbished NEC 30" monitor that operates at 2560x1900 native resolution.
I get it today after anxiously awaiting it since last Wednesday...
I hook the thing up and something's wrong, it's all blurry. I reset it, muck around in settings a ton of times, unplug my other monitor, read up on my ATI card to make sure it can handle this, reinstall graphics drivers/software, the whole 10 yards
3 hours later I realize that the user manual shows that a dual link DVI-D cable was supposed to come with this thing. The refurbished box came with a single link (only 18 pins vs 24 pins).
So... here I am with a 30" monitor dominating my desk... dark........... and a dual link DVI-D on next day shipping on order. (which basically tripled the price of the cable.. but neither Walmart nor Best Buy carry dual link DVI-Ds)
*sob*

Its ok, I have an extra moniter that I can not use because I dont have an extra VGA port >< only other port open is the HDMI port
