It may have been said already, but Hard Hitter stance for the BA will be the bane of the charging-melee-idiot-ball :D

Oh, I have mentioned it before in OOC, but unless things have changed from Beta, the flurry of horizontal arrows that are released during Death Blossom is being removed :( while only the vertical shots remain, so its just like the Hunter's AoE ranged shot now minus the root (only with later BA trait).

I like the interplay between latent poison and the new spider daze.

The rank 11 trait to decrease the countdown on latent poison is amazing; you can easily close the distance on a freep you daze in an ambush situation and latent them and they will be stunned for 10 seconds unless they burn a CC pot AND a poison pot. Then you chain your knockdown on top of it with hatchlings in the mix.

Spiders are going to be a lot of fun.

Those new BA skills may not be individually as impressive as skills for some of the other classes, but I can see alot of potential for devastating combos here. For instance:

OMG LOOK! A Champ on a horse! Let's try this sequence...

Hinder (75 damage)
Flaming Arrow (1,188 damage over 20 seconds)
Tangleshot (387 damage)
Vital Target (2,098 damage over 20 seconds)
No You Don't (223 damage)
In Your Face (385 damage)
Cut (185 damage)

4,500+ damage in about 30 seconds worth of battle? Yeah... I'll take that over what I do know, k thx!

***EDIT: Bah, just notice Tangleshot it R12. Fuck that... oh well. Still, much better DPS for Buir, so I'm happy.

Thanks for the offer. I didn't get much interest on the beta forums for any kind of testing; only two people answered.

Wait until you see the Freep changes... Creep should be in a lot of trouble come Moria. But, we do need to keep in mind who the freep "leaders" are, so I guess we shouldn't have much to worry about after all.

The big change that come to mind:

Hunter DPS - It's absolutely gone through the roof, literally. Imagine Heart-seeker critting upwards of 6000 damage, and Merciful Shot crits upwards of 4000. Swift-bow attacks hitting for 3500-4000 when critted (1200 * 3), and 2000 when not (650 * 3). If they ever learn to focus fire, anything that moves will die :(. Greenie creeps will be 1 shotted, I promise you that.

Keep in mind that beta is still going on and things are still subject to change. In fact, we are getting a new build Friday so maybe they will have cut this down some *crosses fingers*. I've actually been amazed at the changes they have made on our (the players) suggestions in beta. Creeps started out really badly with pretty low morale considering the fact they were ten levels higher but had less morale than their level 50 counterparts (I gasped when I got mine copied over and saw the numbers). But after an event where even the freeps complained it was too easy to kill creeps, Jalessa revisited the numbers and raised morale and dps for creeps. I'm not saying things are equal, of course, but they seem to be listening to us at least some. Maybe I'll get all the E Creeps together to test the new build Fri. Just need to talk to someone about using a vent server for easier comunication and get some freeps to join us.

Oh Hellnakh, we can still suicide in Grams unless they fix it Friday ;)

There was a fun time on Friday night where we fielded 2 full raids (although freeps claim 3.5) and we destroyed them everywhere, including inside Ost.

Then the rest of the time over the weekend, when we got the upper hand, they logged, then came out again with massive numbers to roll through everything while avoiding whatever was a semi-difficult fight for them

Easy-moding creeps isn't exactly what makes up a good hardened raid. We all know that when we get a team of experianced and hardened personnel together, we can do extremely well. But when you add in the people who don't know about raid target assist, we all suffer.

/agree I haven't been out much lately cause the fighting has been so damn boring. I'll roam around solo for an hour or so looking for some good fights on my own, but the large fights I've been around for (I know I missed some good ones this weekend) have been really stagnant and lame. Would rather be the underdog and outgunned but at least have fun fights going on than stand around trading infamy/renown for an hour doing nothing.

But when you add in the people who don't know about raid target assist, we all suffer... but with freep numbers out there, at some point you do need every warm body you can to throw at them.

We need to figure out how to get new people 'semi-competant' as soon as possible. I think we need a boiled down 30 second read on what you need to do to be successful under raid leadership.

Speaking of locking down, I don't like what I've heard about the resist nerfs. My spidey depends on being able to resist daze/mezz/roots 1/3 of the time. Not looking forward to almost no resist chance vs. freep CC.

Reduced creep morale and resists + massive freep damage - sounds like there'll be a new learning curve in the moors. I predict some newer creep defections if its a slaughter for a few weeks.

So i've heard.. but the freeps will quietly ignore that fact and still complain about us getting a mez and AoE root.

And all the more reason to get used to the fact that we need to shift our firepower from their healing to DPS whenever possible with just lockdowns on the minstrels.

Minstrels already are ridiculous with self defenses (specially with the introduction of feign death). Time to kill things killing us while still making minstrels run.
