Is it just me, or can we actually see what the freeps are saying aloud? At least, that's what the rangers do.

to me, it's a bug that you can't hear the other side if they've spoken out loud on /say

it's not an overall bug only trolls and ranger can be heard in /say. normal MP and freep say is still blocked to the other side.

i don't see why both sides seeing what /say gives is a bug... i mean, the character has spoken, out loud :D
if they want to, they should introduce languages so that freeps can talk in their own language on /say and we have the black tongue of mordor when we /say (or whatever)

Yep it's a bug... session play can be heard on both sides for /say

Not speaking between factions is definitely by design. And it is a very good decision.
The internet is the home to the mouth-breathing dregs of society.... That less than 1% of the populace lives to stir up trouble, cuss ad nauseum and grief people. Quite frankly this would cause many of us to quietly leave and never look back. I'm glad to say I've never seen anyone /spit or the likes on Elendilmir in PvMP. Let's keep it this way.
