Anyone happen to know why?
So.. apparently we're going to be rolled next book...
Nor will it ever change Yick! Tis the way of teh freepies :p
yeah that book was EPIC...snooze. an AWESOME 20 min rift skirmish...zzzzzzzz
back to good ole PvP :) but so far...I dont see any difference in the fights really. my spider got a 4% resistance boost, and times are still fun...a whole raid of Freeps clears out 3/4 of TR, pulls the Tyrant and bails out the back with 5 creeps up top to defend....nothin's changed :)
That'll be because there is no new content, there is a book line with about 2 hours worth of stuff and some skirmishes, woo!
I figure I'll update this thread with a good ole L O L
Nice work, Bogu. I couldn't sleep so I got up and saw Akulz' tweets on an all-blue Moors with creeps having the outnumbered buff. Illy was entirely correct; so much for the new content keeping freeps out of the Moors!

Caek, I doubt that the down-time will last beyond one week. Possibly even just a few days. Skirmishes are neato and all, but they become boring very quickly (and there's a high rate of DR on the rewards earned if you run them more than once a day). Unless they surprise us with a brand new area/farmable instance or raid, expect Freep numbers to remain relatively stable.
People are slower than you may think :p While you and I have done and did everything there is to do out in PvE land and are now bored with it, there are many many other PvPers who have not and would probably want to get their LIs how they want them or even finish leveling up!
I have to agree with you illy as far as the CJs go. That is in no way a fix and as H and i saw the other day on bullroarer, Burgs can still CJ lock you dead twice without blinking. They either need to go away, make a full FM/WB immunity for 1m or more, or use the same DR timer

Illy it is good to hear your ideas as to what we might be getting with the next book. It has always been my philosophy to wait and see what happens and to never assume anything. I can see it being just like it is now to be honest, except of course for the first few weeks when everyone takes a break for the new content.
I don't see the status quo changing all that much next book. Orcs/Wargs at high ranks are getting some nifty skills. The separate DR table for CJs is fail. I'd like to see CJ stuns go on the same DR table as everything else, or after the first application you receive a full minute of immunity to the stun as well as WB/F maneuver.
Freeps are getting sightly buffed jewellery next book, and possibly getting access to First Ages (which will likely only be accessible to the hardcore raiders). All the classes are getting tweaked, but I didn't see any major overhauls when I read the patch notes on changes to Freep classes.
As such, I would advocate a 'wait-and-see' approach to how things will play out next book. The sky certainly isn't falling for anyone as far as I can tell right now. Even with the changes to Creep healing that probably won't alter game-play in any significant way. Perhaps, since your heals are all induction-based, Creep healers will still largely trait for morale/power since the inductions (as far as I know) won't be any easier/more difficult to fire off.
Vyxe, as you said on the forums even with us Freeps being outnumbered during U.S. prime-time we're still pulling roughly equitable levels of renown/infamy. Unless Creep numbers drop off or Freep numbers increase dramatically I expect a nearly identical version of the 'Moors in the next book to what we have now. Anyway, now that I'm officially bored with PvE and have almost nothing else to grind for LIs/gear I'll be PvP'ing more frequently. That doesn't mean I'll raid up/lead raids anymore than I do now, but that could change...
I'll see all you maggots on the battlefield!
Lead more...that is an order!
At least raids slam into eachother when you or Demkoa lead.

Yeah on Bullroarer the CJs are just about as bad as on live -- I was always dead by the time the second one finished. Another failure by Turbine -- especially putting CJs on their own DR timer.
Honestly i dont see how the DRs are going to help with CJs overpoweredness. They are on a separate timer 45s timer than the rest of the CC. and its 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, 1 second.
So with burgs they will still be able to apply 3 CJs (3rd CJ at 2.5s) which is enough to get in 3 to 4 attacks. So if you are miraculously still alive after the 2nd one, the 3rd one is going to drop you dead.
:/
From the release notes:
Quest : Leader of the Rat-Folk - The cursed leader of the Hobbit town somehow has tricked us so that we could not bring ourselves to attack him. We once again can do so, and will have our revenge!
I believe this change will result in us getting rolled. Think about it: We'll all be on our greenie alts in HH farming the mayor, conveniently gathered in one spot to be zerged by freeps!
Or it could be the DR for CJs. Bye-bye CJs! I'll miss you! Alas, my revenge for book 6 Moria was short-lived! :(
Only thing i can think of is the new lvl 62 skills are buffs skills (B/P/E/ and Damage % buff) However, From what HBomb and I have seen, is there is a resistance increase for creeps...So I say let them have this mentality if its true or not. could get them out to the moors and give them a mental boost that they are stronger therefor making them mor aggressive
I still don't see anything in there for severe balance changes

God forbid you try and explain that to them though.
I still find it funny how so many of them are saying rank is un important for freeps, yet they follow leaders to regularly use terms such as "farm renown". I've heard nearly every freep leader use this term while attempting a "keep take"
