They're going to be freeps, stronger, and with more backup.  Creeps get screwed again!!!!!!!!

On Brandywine we had a GM play as a r15 Warg with 11k health and one of the new skins. He sucked, and died a lot.

We then had a r15 Hunter with 172k health come out and play. He also sucked, but took a lot longer to die.

I think the disparity in the health really shows which side they care for more.

That's a HUGE variation in moral...  Kind of makes me sick to my stomach thinking an R15 Hunter has that much moral, rofl...Undecided   Wait for it, HURL!

So true....

In fact, if they fleshed out the storyline for the creeps by making them a second faction and letting them level and compete in a few contested zones ala COH/V it would attract a whole lot more folks to play the game while keeping pvp out of the freep lands for those who want nothing to do with pvp.

A beautiful dream even though it won't happen..... This game is known as a Pve game, but that is done, in part, by the way it is not making use of the game mechanics to allow for pvp to be an attractive incentive to draw others from the existing games that don't do so great in that aspect.

I digress....

This could never happen anyways, as the LotR representatives specifically did not want players to be able to play characters like orcs, trolls, goblins, etc when they agreed to let Turbine use the LotR name. Unfortunately this is also why PvP/Ettenmoors was added as an afterthought and why freeps will always be more powerful than creeps (although if you follow that closely to theme then creeps should also be guaranteed about a 30:1 numbers advantage...).

Agreed.  Shouldn’t be a big surprise at all…  (+Krul) was mainly killing NPC’s at EC and then owned by freeps thereafter and corpse jumped, a lot!  He/She was probably online for less than 15min as a creep.  The 2nd GM, name eludes me, was online even shorter than that…  I can’t even image they (GM’s) had enough online time to grasp monster play or interact with the creep players to make a far assessment.  I’m guessing the GM’s will be out for a longer period of time as a freep, since they favor PvE so much more than PvMP anyway…  Turbine has so much potential with this game both on PvE and PvMP, but they ALWAYS FAIL to recognize PvMP for some odd reason.

Don't count on infraction points, they perma ban for less.  Even got my ingame account on a 3 day ban, for forum usage & I didn't even have 10 infraction pts. lol   Just be careful, the lotro forum mods get butt hurt real easily & then swing the ban hammer.

GM's are just doing this to keep the attraction here, since SWTOR is live now.  If it's anything like the last event, they'll be out in the Moors for 5 minutes and then leave. Freepside OOC will just annoy them until they log, they won't want to answer questions or comments from the freeps.

After the last "Event" I was very tempted to post something incendiary on the forums, but due to a generous number of previous infractions (and a few personal notes from Sapience) I decided against it. Cool

After reading about this current Event, however, I couldn't resist, so I started my own thread on the main PvMP forums:

http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?436379-Battle-in-the-Ettenmoors-Part-II&p=5882759#post5882759

I don't THINK it's bad enough to be yanked, but I've received infractions for doing a LOT less, so we'll see (besides, I'm only at 7 of 20 infraction points. I won't worry until I hit 12!).

Battle In The Ettenmoors!

This weekend, our Game Masters will be back in the Ettenmoors! This time, however, they're fighting in the name of the Free Peoples! We've heard your feedback from last weekend's events and this weekend's event will have a few changes. Our GMs will not only be more powerful, but they'll also be bringing their own backup!

GMs will be appearing randomly across all servers. Please keep in mind they are there for the event and not to address support issues, please direct all support requests through the normal channels.
Here is the text from the link.

"The Lord of the Rings Online Jeffrey Stevens Our changes this week were in direct response to everyone's feedback last week. Next time the GMs come around and bolster the Creeps, they'll have the same powerful abilities you see here." that's what they said in a post on their facebook, but something makes me highly doubt they'll make up for it,or at least anytime soon.
