thats a shame, i was actually considering playing more, but if all it is is freep zerg that hugs npcs or steamrolls the map then i might have to reconsider.

is there no more leadership on freepside? is that why they just solo zerg and hug npcs? i thought dealarr was back?
I've only been back on for a few days myself (after maybe a 2 week hiatus?), but I have yet to see Dealarr out in the Moors (maybe he's catching up on all his raid gear/1st ager?)...but the freeps are still out there trying to get raids together (They had 25-30 out tonight to fight our 10). There's a freep named Bryter who tries to put together a raid every day as soon as he logs on, regardless of creep numbers. Granted I HAVE seen several freeps trash him in GLFF for this, but there are still plenty of other freeps who are happy to join him. And the last 2 days when I've taken my freep out into the Moors in the afternoon EST (again, to quest!! I swear!!), I've received at least half-a-dozen blind invites from freeps who have at least a half-raid going...but there aren't any creeps around to kill!! (and the map is already blue). I'm starting to think E has become the crap server of PvP...

Basically you have a bunch of lame freeps who will come out and zerg solos in their "solo" zerg of 15+ once they have 2-3 times the numbers and no opposition. They then sit on stab/ec/wtab pew pewing and often exploiting or flip the whole map blue. As soon as they get any real opposition and wipe once they retreat to TR ramp, or in many cases the CG room, and wait for the creeps to come push them in a keep. This occurs even if the group that wiped them had less than their numbers.
Heck, we've even seen them hugging the ramp when we had the outnumbered buff.
Irish and I even ran into a guard and champ duo the other night. They were happy to 2v1 him but as soon as i jumped in making it a 2v2 they both popped their boots and ran to EC. They then stood at the door jumping up and down thinking we would actually go into their npcs to fight.
Really it just comes down to two words - trash players.

They either have a ton of numbers and it's a one sided slaughter, or they have similar numbers and we get to watch everyone's favorite soap opera: As TR ramp continues to just sit there.
Yepp to what Stickeez said.
This morning for an example it was all freeps, an all blue map including all the OP's. Smeg lead a small group of one fellowship, sometimes 7. Still we would have to roam the map and pull a keep to get them to come fight, of course after we pulled lots of npc's.
The only good thing about this book is it has attracted many of the freep players who normally would not come to the Moors. (in other words they suck) so we still got our share of kills.

Well I think our fight last night at TR W we saw how horrible the freeps playing now are. We were outnumbered ~18 to our 12, definitely outgunned, and we raked in the kills as they came at us 2-3 at a time. (although I will admit I think the horrific lag in the area helped).

US Prime is pretty bad and uneven in itself, but all the other times I've played in the last 3 weeks have been hundreds of magnitudes worse. Early US AM this morning Morsel (on his Defiler) and I got rofl-zerged multiple times in the oddest of places: Grothum, deep inside Isen, and waterfall near PTA - there's just nowhere to hide from it and I'm just thankful that the lot of them are daft enough in regards to skill usage that even through the zerg you can get a kill or two (or 4 - seriously).

That is US time though not Aussie time. Aussie time has no leader and even when Dealarr did lead it was mostly from the safety of a keep until Smeg logged off. Then he would PvE the map. If Smeg came out at any time during it would be straight back to TR.
Ocka came out a couple of times and the fights were somewhat better.
While the PvP on E at the moment is pretty crap i'm pretty certain you'll find most servers have similar or equivalent issues. Particularly for Aussies because most servers are dead during aussie time.
