WTF, Freeps?

Yesterday around 4:00 p.m. EST someone mentioned on OOC that freeps were heading to Lug, so I ran up there (on Buir) to see if I could pick off any stragglers. I don't remember how many were at the front door when I arrived, but I'd say there was at least 10-15, lead by Corveryn. I decided to try running in... Vandal followed me down the first hallway, so I turned to give him a whack or two, and notice that more were coming after me. And so I ran... got mezzed, rooted, etc etc but I kept running, damnit. 8 freeps were following me... and following me... right into the Tyrant room... and they followed me as I ran a pattern around the fucking tyrant room. What follows is the result (and the punchline) of this story:

Soldier Apsduf defeated Chirp
Ongbúrz Archer defeated Kriptic
Ongbúrz Archer defeated Eliriell
Ongbûrz Skirmisher defeated Jerem
Soldier Apsduf defeated Lews
Ongbúrz Archer defeated Chrisolas
Tyrant Tharbîl defeated Vandal
Taskmaster Snagfigú defeated Corveryn

Thought it would give everyone a good laugh... especially since I survived :)

I bet they were thinking that since creeps charge into NPCs all the time just to kill one freep that they could do it too. I guess they didn't really think it through very far, though :lol:. Creeps are suicidal, but you have to pick your spots, like poker.

No stealth... Buir is a BA. Evade for teh win...

Yeah... chasing anything that can stealth throughout a fully NPC'd keep isn't a smart thing :)
