Proposed Moors POI
I always found SE of XRs or SW of BV to be adequate depending on the exact location of the fight. I don't know how efficient naming a specific patch of grass is going to be because people will get mixed up with where the exact location is. I personally think you need a specific landmark if you want to make such a small point on the map a POI so people know exactly where you mean. The other option is naming an area in the same way we have bear valley but this is not as specific which seems to be the problem you are trying to address.
The second problem i have is given the location of your screenshot you are trying to name a commonly used location by many wargs and spiders as an ambush location for freeps coming from GV after a single person when it isn't really unique to that person. All the points in the moors which are named after a particular person have been done so because they were linked to that person either by repitition or through some story or event.
Seeing as it is a common ambush area for wargs and spiders i'd be more inclined to think it should be using something like Ambush Path, Ambush Point or even using one of the patch of trees (a more obvious landmark) and calling it Ambush Wood or something like that and not named after one person.
I think trying to get a reasonably large population to learn exactly which blade of grass constitutes a POI might be hard - just look at when someone says meet at PTR and you map in only to see creeps standing 15-20 metres away who think they are standing on PTR.
